Reverse Bead Half-Round gutters in galvalume plus offer a distinctive appearance and traditional style with added strength at an affordable cost.
Galvalume consists of steel sheets coated with aluminum and zinc, resulting in a strong, durable metal with proven long term corrosion resistance, normally used on metal roofs. Galvalume also has a more neutral appeal without disturbing the balance of the home’s aesthetic, which makes it an ideal choice, instead of colors. Many find it to be more modern and refined than other gutter systems.
K&M also supplies gutter guards / screens for all gutter profiles we offer along with all accessories needed for your gutter system.
Custom lengths, sizes and heavier gauges may be available. Please contact us for pricing.
To put 2 lengths of gutter together, simply cut back the front bead / lip of the gutter 1" or more depending on your needs. Do the same for the hem in the back if present. Cut where needed to create tabs. Overlap the 2 lengths of the gutter and join them by soldering if possible, or with zip screws / rivets and sealer if not.
Coupling pieces can be custom manufactured if needed. Keep in mind that using a coupling piece like a cover plate gives the appearance of 2 seams. Splice plates can also be manufactured. Unlike cover plates, these sit on the inside of the gutter, giving the appearance of one seam, like overlapping 2 gutter lengths.
7" and 8" gutters are custom made manually and not fed through a machine to be roll formed from coil stock as traditional gutters. This limits the lengths to 19.5' and not 20' or "infinite lengths".
5" and 6" gutters are roll formed from coil stock, and unlike European bead gutters these can be made to any feasible length.
